PHASE ONE

1. Introduction to the Bible - 3 sessions

This class introduces the student to the Bible by familiarizing the student with the books of the Bible. A brief survey of the Old and New Testaments, a trip to a local bookstore to select a personal Bible.

 

2. How to study the Bible – 4 sessions

This class familiarizes the student with fundamental Bible study techniques.

 

3. Tenets of the faith - 10 sessions

This is a series of classes that can be taken as a single course or the classes may be taken separately. However, all of the classes must completed successfully for the student to receive a certificate of completion in Next Level’s Training for Service Course. Each class is one session in length unless otherwise indicated:

• Baptism                        

• Salvation

• Communion                                   

• Forgiveness

• Repentance                                   

• Deliverance

• Love (These types of love will be examined in light of scripture).

  • Agape - Unconditional love

  • Storge - love between family members

  • Phileo - love between friends

  • Eros - romantic love

 

PHASE TWO

Training for Service

This class uses the book Training for Service.  It is a 26 session course. The student will learn about the Bible, Old Testament geography and history, New Testament, the Church, the life of Christ, the life of Paul.
